The Barcelona Chamber of Commerce main goal is to promote a real dialogue and positive interactions among enterprises, and with the aim to boost these contacts among an international environment, BCC promotes Meet2B. Indeed, the BCC strives to reach the smallest companies -companies which are not internationalised at all or who do not even have internationalisation on their agenda -in order to encourage them to participate in these B2B matchmaking events. Our aim is to push even the smallest SMEs so that they become used to cooperating with not only national SMEs but also European SMEs.
Moreover, in this edition, the BCC also helps companies getting in contact with large-scale purchasing companies from international markets. Buyers at this year’s Construmat trade show will come from European countries.
Why promote networking in the environmental sector?
The European Commission supports the sustainable construction and environmental sectors through the Lead Market Initiative, which it uses to carry out activities that aim to introduce new products and services in these markets. All such activities seek to promote networking among European companies, research institutions and economic operators in order to create and promote new business opportunities.
In fact, the project's main goal is to promote a real dialogue and positive interactions among enterprises (especially SMEs), the academic and research community, and public and private institutions. This dialogue could be used to create new connections and cooperation between international businesses.
